They are just like big squirrels to me -- and I LOVE squirrels. I love to chase them and bark at them and sit at the bottom of the tree and wait for them to try to get away. I don't EVER hurt them. I just want to play with them, but they are SO fast. Sometimes they run along the top of the fence while I run around on the ground below. It's fun. But usually they just wag their tails at me through the window and make me cRaZY!
But kitties are different. They don't like to play with me and that makes me sad. I mean, they go out of their way to avoid my yard.
Here I am posing for a quick picture.
Then, notice in the top left, on top of the house. SNEAKY KITTY!!!!
I watched and waited -- hoping Sneaky Kitty would stop by and play chase with me.
But she just kept trying to hide behind that blackberry bramble. I can't get in that stuff! It hurts!
Sneaky Kitty! Come on, let's play, just a little, I'm NICE!
Drat! That cat! Why is she so graceful and careful?
Arrgggghh, now she's in the neighbors' yard. I can't jump over fences, Sneaky Kitty, how can we play if you're over there?
(Now the stare-down with Sneaky Kitty)
Look, we can be friends, honest. Can't you see it in my eyes?
I guess Sneaky Kitty would rather play in the neighbors' coy pond. I can't compete with fish, they smell sooooo good.
One day Sneaky Kitty and I will be friends. I know that if I try hard enough, she will come around to my way of thinking...
